The look of EasyShare Z740 is slick and attractive. The surface is smooth, made of polished silver; the frame is rectangular with smooth, even curves. As you can see from the picture, there is a large right-hand grip protruding below the shutter release, covered by a muted black rubber strip for added control. The extending zoom lens moves out in two concentric circles, aesthetically balancing the weight of the projecting grip when viewed straight-on.
